Custom Non-stick Heat Shrink Roller Covers
Fluoron provides three specialized sleeve materials—Fluoro-Clear (FEP), Fluoro-Flex (PFA), and Fluoro-Stat (PTFE)—engineered to meet a wide range of operational needs. These sleeves are designed to eliminate buildup from glues, gums, starch, and scale, while also preventing corrosion and extending the service life of felts and other equipment. By improving rubber nip roller performance, controlling static discharge, and significantly cutting down on unplanned downtime, Fluoron sleeves help improve overall process efficiency and product quality, resulting in fewer customer rejections and smoother operations.
Fluoro-Clear™ (FEP Roll Covers)
Fluoro-Clear™ is Fluoron’s cost-effective, heat-shrinkable FEP roll cover that prevents sticking, buildup, and corrosion. Easy to install and FDA-compliant (21 CFR 177.2600), it’s ideal for food and medical applications.
Fluoro-Flex™ (PFA Roll Covers)
Fluoro-Flex™ heat-shrinkable roll covers, made from virgin PFA resin, offer greater temperature stability and strength than FEP. Ideal for rubber nip rollers and other high-heat or high-compression applications.
Fluoro-Stat™ (PTFE Roll Covers)
Fluoro-Stat™ custom PTFE covers with graphite additives provide a durable, nonstick surface with full conductivity, eliminating static discharge in high-wear applications—delivering up to 10x higher wear resistance than other covers.
